Motivation and Behavior
Motivation can be thought of as the driving force behind behavior.
- Unconscious Behavior: Involuntary Automatic, Homeostasis
- Conscious Behavior: Voluntary, Willed, Motivated
One of the great triumphs of human development is the ability to exert cognitive cortical control over our more primitive instincts inherited by the nature of Life. And with that notion comes a responsibility of compassion and knowingness for the evolution of the body and mind is only a tool for expression and ultimately observation of consciousness manifested through awareness.
